ZOOZ Fitness Athletes Share Their Goals for 2026
January 27, 2026
As 2026 begins, ZOOZ is filled with fresh energy, new faces, and renewed determination. With new trainers, new athletes, and new classes joining the community, ZOOZ continues to grow as a place where everyone can pursue their fitness and health goals—no matter where they’re starting from.
This year, ZOOZ athletes are setting intentions that go beyond numbers on a scale or weights on a bar. Their goals reflect strength, confidence, consistency, and connection. Some are focused on losing weight or lifting heavier. Others are motivated by simply showing up more often or eating healthier. And across the board, there’s a shared desire to keep building the sense of community that makes ZOOZ feel like home.
Sam, a longtime ZOOZ athlete who met founders Jake and Shahar before ZOOZ even existed, is focused on both health and endurance. After completing her first 5K in 2025, she’s setting her sights on running another one in 2026—proving that progress doesn’t stop with a first finish line.
For Matias, 2026 is about consistency and happiness. He plans to increase his workouts from one day a week to three. “I want to be healthy, and happy!” he says.
Ronnie, who trains multiple days a week through both one-on-one sessions and group classes, is focusing on nutrition alongside fitness. His goals include eating less sugar and sodium and pushing himself harder during workouts. “I will exercise harder,” he says with enthusiasm.
Strength goals are a big theme this year. Ashton hopes to get stronger by focusing on deadlifts, bicep curls, and bench presses, while Andy also has his sights set on improving his bench press. Julian, known around the gym as our resident “Sonic,” wants to lift heavier and eat healthier.
For others, nutrition is front and center. Zoe’s main goal for 2026 is to eat healthier, while Sivon plans to challenge herself physically and focus on balanced nutrition—eating more fruits, vegetables, and protein. She says she wants to “feel the sweat coming down” as she works toward her goals.
Some athletes are motivated by longevity and showing up. Tim says, “I want to lose weight and make it through another year.” Loren plans to keep doing what’s already working for him: “I plan to continue doing what I’ve been doing at ZOOZ to stay fit and healthy.” Angela, a newer ZOOZ athlete, hopes simply to exercise more, while Karo wants to run more in 2026.
For Gus, the goal is specific—and visual. He wants his trainers to focus more on his core so he can work toward a six-pack. Atticus hopes that coming to ZOOZ four days a week will help him lose weight.
One of the most inspiring stories comes from Jacob, who has already lost 60 pounds through healthier eating and consistent training at ZOOZ. In 2026, he hopes to lose five more pounds to reach his personal goal—and take on another Spartan race.
Others are focused on growth in all areas of life. Jonah says his goal is to improve himself in every way possible, while Khloe, one of ZOOZ’s newer athletes, hopes to keep coming to the gym to build her confidence.
“I am brave, smart, strong, and powerful!” Khloe says proudly.
Together, these goals paint a picture of what ZOOZ is all about: progress over perfection, strength inside and out, and a community where every athlete’s journey matters. Whether it’s running a race, lifting heavier, eating better, or simply showing up more often, ZOOZ athletes are stepping into 2026 with purpose, courage, and support.
