Zooz Fitness & Momentum Academy Spread the Love at Their Valentine’s Dance

On the first Saturday of February, love, laughter, and lively beats filled Momentum Academy in Los Angeles as it teamed up with ZOOZ Fitness for an unforgettable Valentine’s Dance.

What began as a simple community-building idea quickly became one of the most heartwarming nights of the season — complete with festive décor, a photo booth, pizza, cupcakes, dating games, and a packed dance floor from start to finish.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary evening. The space had been transformed with pink and red in every direction, heart-shaped balloons and themed treats. Cupcakes piled high with frosting and slices of cheesy pizza made their way through the crowd, making sure everyone had fuel to keep moving.

A Collaboration Built on Community

For Jake, owner of ZOOZ Fitness, the event carried a deeper purpose than just a party.

“This dance was our way of bringing our athletes into the community,” Jake said. “We want ZOOZ Fitness to be more than just a gym — we want it to be a place where friendships grow, where memories are made, and where everyone feels welcome.”

Eric, owner of Momentum Academy, said the partnership felt natural from the start.

“When we started talking with ZOOZ, we instantly knew this would be something special,” he said. “We wanted to create a dance for individuals with special needs who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend one. We’re here to provide space for friendship, socialization, and community.”

Games, Dancing & Good Vibes

With a DJ spinning crowd favorites, the dance floor rarely cleared.

Jazzy, a ZOOZ athlete, beamed as she showed off her festive outfit.

“Happy Valentine’s Day!” she exclaimed. “I love wearing pink and purple.”

Nearby, Armand was already replaying the highlights in his mind.

“I had fun with my friends,” he said.

More Than a Dance

What made the night unforgettable wasn’t just the music or the sweets. It was the feeling in the room — the connections forming in real time, the easy laughter, the sense that everyone belonged exactly where they were.
