ZOOZ Fitness marked a major milestone this March—10 years of changing lives through inclusive fitness. What began as a vision to make exercise accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, has blossomed into a vibrant, thriving community of athletes, coaches, families, and supporters.

To celebrate a decade of impact, ZOOZ threw a community-wide block party on Sunday, May 4, at its Woodland Hills facility. Hundreds came out in full force—athletes, their families, trainers, and local supporters—to honor founder Jake Weiner and the extraordinary community he’s cultivated. The energy was infectious, and the message was clear: ZOOZ is more than a gym—it’s a movement.

From a dunk tank (yes, Jake and other brave trainers got soaked!) to biking challenges, dead-hang competitions, raffles, and mouth-watering food, there was something for everyone. Major sponsors like Prime, SuperGreens, and Transparent Labs showed up in support, helping fuel the celebration with their generous contributions.

A Decade of Difference

So what does it really mean to celebrate 10 years of ZOOZ?

It means honoring the humble beginnings—when Jake trained just a handful of athletes in public parks and community centers with little more than a dream and some basic equipment. It means recognizing the grit, resilience, and heart that transformed those early sessions into a full-scale, fully inclusive fitness center.

“I always hoped ZOOZ would last longer than 10 years,” Jake shared. “But to actually be here, a decade later, with this incredible community—it’s unreal. I’m beyond grateful to every athlete, every family, and every coach who’s helped build this.”

Today, ZOOZ serves hundreds of athletes of all abilities, proving what’s possible when accessibility and empowerment are at the heart of fitness.

Built by a Team, Led with Purpose

While Jake’s vision sparked ZOOZ’s creation, he’s the first to say he didn’t do it alone. His wife Shahar, a constant pillar of support, and a passionate team of trainers and coaches have been instrumental every step of the way.

“Having a team that truly understands the mission—that sees our athletes and believes in what we’re building—it means everything to me,” Jake said. “ZOOZ is a team effort, through and through.”

The trainers are more than fitness experts—they're mentors, motivators, and advocates for inclusion. They design adaptive workouts, build deep personal relationships with athletes, and create a safe, fun, and empowering space where everyone can thrive.

“Jake has been a huge inspiration,” said Coach Jared, ZOOZ’s Fitness Director. “He’s taught me not just how to be a better trainer, but how to lead with heart. I’m so thankful for the opportunity he’s given me—and for the community we’ve built together.”

Looking Ahead: The Next Chapter

With a decade under its belt, ZOOZ is not slowing down. Plans are underway to move to a larger facility and even expand to new locations, bringing inclusive fitness to more communities across the country.

The future is bright—and buzzing with possibility.

ZOOZ’s first 10 years were about proving what could be done. The next 10? They’re about reaching further, impacting more lives, and continuing to redefine what fitness looks like—for everyone.

Here’s to the next 10 years of movement, community, and making a difference!
